CVPitch vs ConnectIQ: CV Formatting Price and Features

CVPitch vs ConnectIQ for recruitment agencies: published per-CV prices, no-AI formatting, review, redaction and integrations as of 11 October 2026.

CVPitch vs ConnectIQ is a comparison between two self-serve CV formatters that both promise facts you can check against the source CV and both offer a formatting mode that makes no AI call. On published pricing the two are roughly comparable per CV at 100 and 1,000 CVs a month, depending on the exchange rate, and ConnectIQ also offers an annual discount. CVPitch puts its weight on review controls, approval tied to the exact version, and connections to the systems an agency already uses: native ATS connectors, email intake, a public API, webhooks and an MCP server.

How we compared them: we make CVPitch. ConnectIQ details below are taken from its public pricing page and privacy notice as published on 11 October 2026, and from a free account we opened on 10 October 2026 in which we did not complete a conversion. We have not tested ConnectIQ's output quality, so this page compares published prices and advertised features, not accuracy.

CVPitch vs ConnectIQ: the short answer

Choose ConnectIQ if you want to pay in pounds, prefer annual billing with two months free or want AI rewriting at set strengths, and you are happy to move files to your ATS by hand.

Choose CVPitch if you want each fact shown beside its source passage before approval, contact removal that reaches hidden document metadata, and native connections to your ATS, inbox, automation tools or AI assistant.

Published pricing compared

Both publish a 100-CV entry plan and a 1,000-CV top plan. At those two points the prices are roughly comparable, depending on the exchange rate on the day you pay. The middle tier differs most, at £29 for 250 against $49 for 300, and ConnectIQ's annual billing lowers its price by two months a year. Count the units too: a CVPitch export is one approved CV delivered as a matching Word and PDF pair, and later exports of the same submission, such as a different client template or a corrected version, do not use another export. Unused CVPitch exports carry over to the next month once, up to one month's allowance. Check ConnectIQ's own page for how it counts a conversion. Our CV formatting software pricing page puts more vendors side by side.

Where CVPitch differs

Review before anything leaves

Every employer, title, date, qualification and skill links to the exact passage in the original. If extraction missed something, draw a box around the words on the original page, pick the text and assign it to the field, so the fix keeps its source evidence. Approval then covers the facts, the client template version and the contact-removal settings together, and any later edit needs approving again. Read our AI CV formatting accuracy guide for what to test in any tool.

A format-only lane with the same safeguards

Both products offer formatting without AI. In CVPitch, "Format only — no AI" keeps the candidate's wording exactly: headings and sections are detected by rules, each line stays a literal quote of the source, and the same review, approval and contact-removal steps apply. It uses no AI credits for PDFs with a text layer and Word files; scans and photos still need AI text recognition at 1 AI credit per page. See features.

Connections to the rest of your stack

CVPitch imports CVs from and attaches approved files back to the ATS systems listed above, formats CVs sent to a private email address, and exposes a REST API with a public OpenAPI document, signed webhooks and an MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT. Nothing outside the app can approve a submission. See integrations and the developer docs.

Charges that follow the work

Failed processing jobs never use an export or AI credit, uploading the same file again within 24 hours reuses the first result instead of charging twice, and re-exporting a submission is free once it has been exported (same candidate, up to 20 re-exports).

Where ConnectIQ may be the better choice

  • Paying in pounds. ConnectIQ prices in GBP, so a UK agency avoids exchange-rate movement; CVPitch bills in USD.
  • The middle tier. ConnectIQ's Agency plan is £29 for 250 CVs a month, against CVPitch Pro at $49 for 300.
  • Annual discount. ConnectIQ offers annual billing at ten times the monthly price; CVPitch is monthly only.
  • Individual users. Personal Pro suits a job seeker or a solo recruiter at £5 a month.
  • Rewrite strengths. If you want AI polishing at set strengths, ConnectIQ's four modes are built for that; CVPitch keeps rewriting optional and proposal-based.

Questions to ask in either trial

  • Do qualifiers survive? "Withdrawn", "not awarded" and "expected" should come through exactly as written.
  • Where did each date come from? A missing end date should stay missing or be flagged, not become "Present".
  • Are contact details gone everywhere? Check the Word file properties and search the PDF text, not just page one.
  • What counts as a CV? Find out whether a second template or a corrected version costs another credit.

Frequently asked questions

Is ConnectIQ cheaper than CVPitch?

Not clearly. ConnectIQ lists £15 for 100 CVs, £29 for 250 and £89 for 1,000 a month (published 11 October 2026); CVPitch lists $19 for 100, $49 for 300 and $119 for 1,000 exports a month (as of 12 October 2026). At 100 and 1,000 CVs the prices are roughly comparable, depending on the exchange rate; the middle tier differs most, and ConnectIQ's annual billing at ten times the monthly price lowers its cost further. CVPitch's re-exports of the same submission are free (same candidate, up to 20 re-exports), so compare what each charges for a corrected or re-templated CV.

Does CVPitch have a no-AI mode like ConnectIQ's format-only mode?

Yes. Choose "Format only — no AI" when you upload. For PDFs with a text layer and Word files no AI call is made (scans and photos still need AI text recognition), the candidate's wording is kept exactly, and the review, approval and contact-removal steps are the same as for AI extraction.

Can CVPitch send formatted CVs back to my ATS?

Yes, for Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Ashby, Teamtailor, Recruitee, SmartRecruiters, Recruit CRM and Crelate. A recruiter chooses the approved files to attach. Bullhorn, JobAdder and Vincere connectors are waiting on partner approval.

Which AI does each tool use?

CVPitch uses Anthropic's Claude (Haiku model) for AI extraction, OCR and the optional AI writing tools; format-only mode uses none. ConnectIQ's privacy notice names the Google Gemini API. Read our AI transparency page for how CVPitch uses AI.
