CVPitch vs Allsorter: CV Formatting Compared (2026)
CVPitch vs Allsorter for recruitment agencies: pricing, CV reformatting, redaction, ATS integrations and review controls, from October 2026 research.
CVPitch vs Allsorter is a choice between two approaches to the same job. Allsorter is an established name in CV reformatting for recruitment agencies, with ATS integrations and an option to keep the candidate's original CV behind a branded coversheet. CVPitch is a newer, self-serve tool built around checking every fact against the source before an editable Word file and matching PDF go to the client.
How we compared them: we make CVPitch. For Allsorter we reviewed its public solutions and pricing pages on 9–10 October 2026. We did not find a self-serve free trial, so we have not used Allsorter's product, and nothing here is a test of its output quality. Treat every Allsorter feature below as advertised by Allsorter.
The short answer
Choose Allsorter if you want a sales-led, quote-based service with ATS integrations such as Bullhorn, Salesforce and JobAdder, bespoke templates, multilingual options, or the choice of keeping the original CV with a coversheet.
Choose CVPitch if you want to start today without a sales call, see a published price, give every recruiter access at no extra cost, and have each extracted fact shown beside its source passage with approval tied to the exact version you send.
Who each tool suits
Allsorter suits
- Agencies already standardised on Bullhorn, Salesforce or JobAdder who want formatting inside that workflow.
- Teams that sometimes prefer to keep the candidate's own CV and add an agency coversheet rather than rebuild the document.
- Firms that want several bespoke templates designed for them. Allsorter's pricing page lists ten custom CV templates or cover sheets.
- Larger teams. The Elite plan was listed for teams of at least five, with Enterprise above it.
CVPitch suits
- Boutique and mid-sized agencies that want to trial on real work with 10 free exports and no card.
- Desks where a wrong date or employer in a client submission is costly, so recruiters need to check facts quickly.
- Agencies that send the same candidate to several clients in different formats.
- Teams that want to pitch a candidate against a job description with evidence, work from Claude or ChatGPT, or use an ATS CVPitch connects to natively, such as Greenhouse, Lever, Workable or Recruit CRM.

Where CVPitch differs
Evidence for every fact, and approval that means something
When CVPitch extracts a CV, each employer, title, date, qualification and skill is linked to the exact passage it came from. A recruiter clicks to check rather than scanning two documents side by side. Facts with no supporting passage are marked unverified, and anything a recruiter types is labelled recruiter-added.
Approval is tied to three things: the saved facts, the client template version and the contact-removal policy. Change any of them and the approval no longer applies. That stops an unchecked edit reaching a client after someone has signed it off.
Contact removal that reaches hidden metadata
You choose what the client should not see: email, phone, address, personal links, or the name replaced with a candidate reference. You can also remove date of birth, nationality and similar personal-detail lines, and mask employers and institutions with descriptors. Removal applies to the generated DOCX and PDF, including hidden document metadata. The original CV is stored separately and never overwritten. Read more in our guide to removing contact details from a CV.
Published pricing with unlimited users
Every CVPitch plan includes unlimited users and every feature except white-label branding and a custom client domain, which come with Agency. One export is one approved CV as a matching DOCX + PDF pair; previews and re-downloads are free. See pricing.
Job match and pitch built on evidence
Paste a job description and CVPitch marks each requirement as evidenced, partly evidenced or not shown, with the supporting CV passage. Matching is deterministic, with no AI guessing, and it produces an editable pitch email that cites the evidence, plus a list of gaps to confirm with the candidate. See how to pitch a candidate to a client.
Claude and ChatGPT connector
CVPitch's remote MCP server lets Claude and ChatGPT list submissions, check status, read policy-gated evidence, create draft previews and export already-approved submissions. Assistants can suggest changes for human review but can never approve.
Parity features
CVPitch also offers bulk upload, email intake, PowerPoint and Excel shortlists and tracked client share links (see all features), where the client can choose Request interview, Maybe or Not a fit. Plenty of vendors offer bulk upload or share links, so weigh these as table stakes rather than reasons to switch.
Where Allsorter may be the better choice
- Bullhorn, Salesforce and JobAdder. If formatting must happen inside one of these, Allsorter advertises exactly that. CVPitch's Bullhorn and JobAdder connectors are waiting on partner approval, and it has no Salesforce connector; until then those systems connect through the API, webhooks or automation tools.
- Keep-the-original option. Some clients want the candidate's own CV. Allsorter separates full reformatting from adding a coversheet to the original. CVPitch always generates a new document.
- Bespoke template design. If your client format is intricate, a vendor that designs custom templates for you may save time. In CVPitch you add the placeholder tags to your own Word template yourself.
- Multilingual work. Allsorter lists multilingual options. CVPitch can translate a CV into 14 languages as a reviewed AI proposal, but its personal-detail detection relies on English labels.
- Enterprise buying. Quote-based procurement, onboarding and account management suit some larger agencies better than self-serve.
Pricing compared
CVPitch publishes its prices: a free trial of 10 exports, then Starter at $19 a month for 50, Pro at $49 for 200 and Agency at $99 for 500. That is roughly $0.20 to $0.38 per approved CV, with no seat fees. Allsorter's pricing page showed Elite and Enterprise plans with quote buttons rather than figures in October 2026, so we cannot give a like-for-like number. Ask for a quote that states the unit (per CV, per candidate or per seat), what counts as a re-export, and template setup fees.
How to compare them fairly
Use the same five synthetic or permitted CVs in both: one with a degree "not awarded", one with a missing end date, contacts in the header and footer, a two-column layout, and a long contractor history. Time the job end to end, count corrections, and open the DOCX to check metadata. Our CV formatting software guide has a full checklist, and the best CV formatting software shortlist covers other options. Frequently asked questions
Is CVPitch cheaper than Allsorter?
We can't say for certain, because Allsorter's prices are quote-based. CVPitch's published plans work out at roughly $0.20 to $0.38 per approved CV with unlimited users. Ask Allsorter for a written quote in the same unit.
Does CVPitch integrate with Bullhorn like Allsorter?
Not yet. A native Bullhorn connector is waiting on Bullhorn's partner approval. Today CVPitch has native connectors for Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Ashby, Teamtailor, Recruitee, SmartRecruiters, Recruit CRM, Crelate and Manatal, and connects to other systems through its REST API, signed webhooks and Zapier, Make or n8n. See integrations for what is available today.
Can CVPitch keep the candidate's original CV and add a coversheet?
No. CVPitch rebuilds the CV in your client variant, which can include an optional coversheet. The original is kept separately in your workspace and never overwritten, but it is not the document you export.
Can I try both before deciding?
You can start a CVPitch free trial straight away. For Allsorter we found demo and quote routes rather than a self-serve trial, so expect a sales conversation.
Allsorter details reflect its public pages as observed on 9–10 October 2026. We did not test its product. Features and prices change, so check Allsorter's own site before deciding.
