Resume formatting software for staffing firms Client-ready candidate resumes in minutes.
CVPitch turns a candidate’s resume — Word, PDF, even a scan — into your firm’s branded submittal. Every fact sits beside its source, contact details come off on your terms, and you export editable Word plus PDF.

Editable DOCX + PDF
Illustrative layout, not a live document preview. Fictional facts; no AI call. The app renders actual draft and approved files.

Reformatting resumes is the job nobody hired you to do.
Every client wants it slightly differently, and every copy-paste is a chance to get a date wrong.
Copying into the firm’s template by hand. Retyping that adds nothing to the placement.
Contact details slipping through. One missed phone number in a footer and the client can go direct.
Small errors, big doubts. A wrong date or employer makes a client question the whole shortlist.
Different formats for different clients. Headings, order and branding that live in someone’s memory.
How it works in three steps.
Set up your client formats once. Then each resume is upload, check, export.
1 / Upload
Drop in the resume.
Upload the candidate’s resume, forward it by email or import it from your ATS — Bullhorn, Crelate, Loxo, JobAdder, Greenhouse, Lever and more — and pick the client’s format. CVPitch extracts the career facts into structured, editable fields.
Word, PDF or scanOriginal kept separately
2 / Check
Review facts beside the source.
Every fact shows the passage it came from. Fix anything, answer flagged questions, and choose which contact details to remove.
“Is this date supported?”A review question, not an invented answer.
3 / Export
Approve and submit.
Approve the exact version, then export an editable DOCX and a matching PDF in your client’s format — ready to attach to your submittal.
Edited after approval? It needs approving again.
Faster submittals without the risk.
Speed only helps if the client can trust what you send.
Evidence beside every fact
Each employer, date, skill and credential links back to the exact passage in the original resume, so checking is a click, not a side-by-side squint.
Your format, every time
Save a variant per client — layout, branding, headings, section order and rules, or your own Word template — so every recruiter sends the same polished submittal.
Contact removal you control
Pick what the client shouldn’t see, from phone numbers to date of birth or employer names. It’s removed from the DOCX, the PDF and hidden metadata, while the original stays untouched.
Editable Word plus matching PDF
Export a real DOCX your team can tweak and a PDF generated from the same approved version.
Approval before anything leaves
Approval is tied to the exact facts, template and privacy settings. Change one and it needs approving again.
Built for the whole desk
Unlimited users on every plan, with owners managing templates, retention, billing and single sign-on.
Works with the ATS you already use.
Connect your own ATS or CRM account, import a candidate’s resume in a couple of clicks, and attach the approved submittal back to the candidate record where your ATS allows it. No ATS? Upload files, or forward resumes to your workspace’s intake address.

Who is CVPitch for?
Staffing firms and recruiting agencies — especially boutique technical and IT staffing firms — that send candidate resumes to clients in their own branded format and want every submittal checked before it goes out.
Does CVPitch rewrite or embellish career facts?
No. It extracts the facts and lays them out in your format. It doesn’t invent employers, dates, skills or metrics. Each fact shows its source passage, uncertain items are flagged for you, and anything you add is labeled as recruiter-added. Optional AI writing tools can propose rewording, a summary, proofreading or a translation, but every change is a suggestion you accept or reject, and checks drop suggestions that alter employers, titles or dates or add numbers. You still check and approve every resume.
What can I customize per client?
Each client format sets one of five layouts and a font, your firm’s branding and logo, client label, accent color, section order and headings, required sections, page limits, a contact-removal preset and an optional cover sheet. Owners can also upload the firm’s own Word template with simple placeholder tags, and CVPitch fills it from the approved facts. Exports print on US Letter by default for US firms (A4 is one click away for overseas clients), and the exported DOCX stays fully editable in Word.
What does contact removal cover?
You choose which candidate contact details to remove. They’re removed from the generated DOCX and PDF, including hidden document metadata. You can also remove date-of-birth, nationality and similar lines, and mask employer names. The original resume is stored separately and never overwritten. Career history can still identify a person, so contact removal is not anonymization.
Which resumes can I upload?
PDF and Word files (DOCX or DOC), RTF, ODT and plain text, up to 10 MB and, for PDFs, up to 20 pages. Scanned PDFs and photos of resumes (PNG, JPEG, WebP or TIFF) are read with AI text recognition at 1 AI credit per page and flagged for you to check against the image. You can also forward resumes by email or import them from a connected ATS.
Which ATS does CVPitch work with?
CVPitch connects to Bullhorn, Crelate, Loxo, JobAdder, Recruit CRM, Zoho Recruit, Manatal, Vincere, Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Teamtailor and Recruitee. You connect your own account, import a candidate’s resume, and can attach the approved version back to the candidate record. No ATS? Upload files or forward them by email.
Who can see our candidates’ resumes?
Only members of your firm’s workspace. Candidate documents are never sent to analytics, and optional page measurement is off until you allow it. You set how long resumes are kept, up to 90 days.
How does pricing work?
Start with 10 free exports — no card. Then choose a monthly plan: Starter $19 for 100 exports, Pro $49 for 300 or Agency $119 for 1,000, billed in US dollars. Every plan includes unlimited users and monthly AI credits for optional OCR and AI writing. One export is one approved resume as a matching DOCX + PDF pair; previews and re-downloads are free. Cancel anytime.
